(ENTER THROUGH THE DOOR OFF THE SMALL PARKING LOT) AUGUST - MAY The Chancel Choir is a group of singers with varying experience levels that seeks to praise God through music and leadership in worship. Members sing during the 9:00 a.m. service every Sunday and also share at special services and events throughout the year, such as our annual Christmas Cantata, Palm Sunday Celebration, as well as music for Easter Sunday. There is no audition required and all are welcome. Rehearsals, which include vocal technique, and music history and theory, are held Wednesdays at 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. August - May. MONDAY EVENINGS | 6:30 PM | Handbell Choir Room SEPTEMBER- MAY The members of the handbell choir join together to praise God by the ringing of beautiful music! Being a member of the handbell choir is really a "team" effort. In bells, each player is a "soloist" in that they are the only person playing their bell/note. So...every player counts and being a handbell ringer requires a strong commitment to the group!! Performing for the Worship Services throughout the church year, the choir is for adults and high school students who love music. Highlights for this ministry include the annual performance at Thanksgiving time, Carols & Bells concert in December, Palm Sunday Festival Celebration, as well as music for Mother's Day. We are always seeking new members, and while it helps if you can read music, it is not required. Rehearsals are on Mondays at 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. August - May.
